Anyone else in Majorca? We are flying out tomorrow am . Is the weather as shit as the headlines? Have flights been on time?

Yes, in Majorca at the moment. Weather today was biblical with trees being uprooted all over the place. Our hotel is fine, but lots of hotels are carnage with equipment, sun beds, shrubs and trees being blown all over the place. It was the heaviest rain I've ever seen (easily comparable to tropical climates) with thunder and lightening on and off all day. Joy!! . The locals said it's the worst they've seen in years, but was due to the recent almost 40 degree heat this week

However tomorrow is sunny again and mid to high twenties.

We are staying north east coast... near Alcudia.
The whole island was hit yesterday, but this morning is fine.

OP if you need a rainy day activity with kids... Palma aquarium is fantastic. We spent more than 4 hours there.
