Things to see/do for a morning in Brittany in April

Hello,
We have a holiday booked for mid April 2024 near Quimper in Brittany. Getting the overnight Plymouth - Roscoff ferry, we will be arriving early morning but can't check in until 15.30. Roscoff- Quimper is around 1.5hours drive.
We will have a 7month old with us, so a few stops along the way, plus a supermarket trip etc but obviously weather maybe poor.
So any recommendations for places to stop/things to see? We like history, heritage sites, pretty villages etc. Things Brittany has in spades, but any named ideas?

Pont Aven is a very beautiful village close to Quimper. We also like Locronan.
Huelgoat Forest is stunning
If you like history and heritage, there’s Daoulas Abbey.
Brest has a good maritime museum, botanic gardens and an aquarium.
