Can’t check in for Wizzair return flight

Exactly what it says on the tin. A friend and I are flying to Spain next Friday and returning a week later. Checked in online for outbound flight no issues.

Wizzair system will not allow me to check us in online for the return flight. I have tried eleventy billion times and keep getting the same error message. Same thing happens if using app on mobile or using laptop.

If we can’t check in online, they will charge us for airport check in!! Cheeky bastards. Obviously never flying with them again, but has anyone overcome this problem?

I have tried online chat (just try it again later) email (no response) and phone (just try it again later) over the past three weeks.

Any ideas oh wise ones?

I don't think you can check in that far in advance. Just wait and try again closer to the time.

It says 30 days before, and I checked us in for outbound weeks ago…

Is it an airport that allows you to do online check in? Not all do

We had that but changing to an iPad from phone solved the issue. I would try on all devices you have.

Yes might be that the return leg is from an airport that doesn’t allow online check in? If that’s the case they won’t charge you for check in at the airport

Have you got specific seats purchased for the return flight too? I think it’s only 24 hours before if not

Or - Have you booked a specific seat on the return leg? If not you can not do online check in 24hrs before the flight

Yes, we should be able to check in online for the airport, and yes we do have seats Pre booked.

I will see if my friend has an IPAD.
