We have an unexpected chance to go for a child-free stay somewhere in the last week of October. I was surprised to find plenty on the Jet2 site for £500 or under each which is great. It looks like Crete, Cyprus, the Algarve, Croatia, the Canaries are all in budget and will be warm still. Any recs? Not interested in going further than that.
Needs to be warm but not bothered about hot/beach weather. Sitting out with a drink weather is all we need but wearing a jumper is fine!
Hotel amenities not an issue. Probably wouldn’t eat in much and don’t care about entertainment. In town is fine and ideally within walking distance of stuff.
In an ideal world in a place where there’s some cultural interest. Prepared to hire a car for some days if needed.
Good food in the vicinity is quite important, unless it’s a bargainous all-inclusive as are also prepared to slob it for a week if it’s a good deal!
Flying from Midlands/northern airports. Very flexible on this.
We normally do cheap flights + AirBnB but it really seems at this time of year the packages are cheaper.
