Do Jet2 weigh cabin baggage? (And what happens if it’s too heavy?)

I’m flying tomorrow and while I’ve paid a lot of attention to the size of my bag, I’ve just realised it’s too heavy. Damn! Do they actually weigh them? What happens if it’s too heavy? I’m just wondering whether to pay to check it in now, or wait and see what happens tomorrow? (Is it more expensive to check it in there and then rather than do it now?)

If the size is fine, I would bet they don’t weight it. I’ve never had my cabin baggage weighed on Jet2

No, never weighed mine. And if you are hand luggage only, they won't even see your bag until boarding, they might check the size at that point but don't imagine they have scales at boarding.

Thanks all. We’ve shifted a few things from my bag to DP’s and are going to risk it. I don’t mind paying if necessary, but I’ll see what happens first!

We’ve done 2 holidays with them, and they never weighed our hand luggage.

flown with them about 15 times and never has it weighed. You should be okay.
