Large family house for celebration

Hi
I am trying to organise a celebration week for my father- significant summer birthday next year.
We are quite a small family so am looking for a lovely house to rent in an area of beauty. It would be for 10 people and must be able to accommodate 2 well behaved dogs.
It will be multigenerational so ideally looking for something that is nice but also will have something for everyone. It must be rural. Eg good walks, close to a beach, possibly a pool table/tennis table etc or even hot tub.
Has anyone stayed somewhere they can recommend? High budgets considered.

I would look at two or more linked houses/apartments in the same location. The trouble with one large property is that some bedrooms are bound to be much larger and nicer than others and it could lead to resentment from the person or people stuck in the tiny garret room two floors up from a toilet etc.
Also bathrooms - ideally one per family or couple, with loo! Nothing worse than hopping desperately from one foot to the other while someone's teenage daughter is primping in there or someone else's husband was seen going in carrying a newspaper half an hour ago.
Also it's just nice to have your own space for a while. Happy hunting.

This might work for you, they have 2 three bedroom cottages Frankie’s and Saddlers attached to each other. One of them is dog friendly. There’s a front garden for the cottages with hot tubs. It’s North Devon in AONB.

Try the website Kate&Toms- they have some brilliant properties, and we've always had great service from them.

North Norfolk Coast. Brancaster and Thornham in particular. Small villages on the coast walking distance to miles of Sandy beaches. Fabulous pubs (although you need to make reservations to eat pretty much year round for large groups). The area is exceptionally dog friendly and there’s a lot of high quality accommodation

Try Lower Mill Estate in the Cotswolds. Get one with spa access. There's a man made beach very nearby, and of course lots of watersports. Also perfect area for walking.

You don't say where. We often use this company who have luxury accommodation in Yorkshire. They have some huge properties which take up to 12 people as well as smaller ones.

If Anglesey is within a reasonable distance this cottage which sleeps 12 is gorgeous. The decor is stunning, is 20 yards from beautiful Rhoscolyn beach and has a hot tub and sauna and outdoor shower. Amazing kitchen (2 dishwashers!) And 2 lounges, teen kids stayed up late at night in their lounge! Also paddle boards and wet suits to borrow. Games room with table tennis. Beautiful welsh coastal walks in both directions and great pub in village too. The owner was fantastic too. We had three generations there.
