Post-exams budget trip 2024 - ideas?

Doing the double next year with one DC doing GCSEs and one doing A levels.

On this rainy afternoon, I am idly thinking about treating us to a 3 or 4 night trip somewhere fun. Maybe Spain near a good water park or somewhere else in Europe near a good theme park?

I’m on a budget but can probably save up £1500.

Have you got any ideas please?

Somewhere around Benidorm which has an excellent waterpark.

Should have said probably 2nd or 3rd week of July.

I presume it’s two adults and two teens? And you’d want two bedrooms?

If you want to be in Spain, I’d look at doing Costa Adeje for Siam Park or PortAventura World in Tarragona.

There are some great theme parks in Netherlands / Germany - my DH is a bit of a rollercoaster geek. Would they want thrill seeker rollercoasters?

There’s a good mix of rides at Europa-Park in Freiburg, and a huge water park too. Phantasialand near Cologne is also one of our favourites.

Thanks everyone, will look at your ideas.

One adult, three teens who will be 13-18.

And yes, two bedrooms (for my sanity)

Yes, I think thrill rides and rollercoasters would be popular.
