Luxury road trip across Europe?

Hello all, we’re looking ahead to next summer holidays and considering a road trip across Europe - probably Eurotunnel to Paris, a couple of nights there, Eurodisney then off across Germany/Alps/Slovenia? Has anyone done it before and has any good hotels/ideas to recommend? We have 3 kids who would be 9, 6 and 3 when we go.

If you need somewhere to stay between Paris and Germany, the best hotel we found for our family was Parc Hotel Alsace. It has a swimming pool, large garden with playground, spa, games room and a children’s menu.
From there, it’s easy to get to the Black Forest in a day. We stayed at this hotel www.schwarzwald-waldhotel.de/en/rooms-offers/family-offers/
We then went to Objerjoch Family Resort via a long leg stretch at Lake Konstanz After that, it was a few nights in Munich.

I don’t have hotel suggestions but I’d consider inter-railing for a trip like that. Much more relaxing, especially with kids, views through the alps in particular will be spectacular and I’m pretty sure all your DC will go free. You could rent a car just for a few days if you wanted to visit more rural areas (we did this as a break from cities and stayed in the mountains in Italy). We flew to furthest point in our trip (Budapest) and took trains all the way back.

We used to stay at an Ibis in Beaune en route places that way. Inexpensive but had a lovely swimming pool and, apparently, an amazing wine list! Might be too far down though.
