Mexico October half term

I understand it is hurricane season but would anyone be able to shed some light on what it really is like - appreciate no one can say for sure but, from experience, did it rain every day / any blue skies? Wondering whether it’s worth taking the risk and booking or whether we should postpone to another time in the year. Many thanks

Well, my friend spent 1 1/2 days in a hurricane shelter one year. A neighbour's holiday was cancelled the night before they were due to fly out because of an incoming hurricane.

I personally don't touch the area in October at all.
