Has anyone been through the Port of Hull recently?

As per title. We're travelling to the Netherlands via the evening crossing Hull - Rotterdam ferry on Friday. And I'm curious how much time we need to leave to get through passport control. I keep hearing horror stories about the Kent ports, not so much about Hull.

No idea about Hull sorry.
But recently both at Dover and Calais it took ages.
At least an hour at Dover. Return from Calais was about an hour and half including customs.
They seemed really understaffed. Literally had staff running between counters.

We travelled last week…honestly it was so easy and has now put me off flying for life! We got there at 3:15 and were through passport control within about 5 minutes. We the waited to board the ship, which I think was 4pm. Glass of wine in hand on the sun deck by 4:30!

Hi OP, we regularly use Hull Ferry Port and have never had more than a 15 minute wait, often more like 5 mins. It is all very quiet and relaxing.

Enjoy your trip.

Thank you all!!!

I am reasonably well travelled, but this is my first time abroad since Brexit and Covid, and I'm really nervous!
A glass of wine in hand by 4.30 sounds perfect!!

One thing I will say…don’t bother with the restaurants. The Costa coffee does takeaway pizzas that you can take into the main bar where the entertainment is. We ate at the buffet on the way out and it was pretty pants.
