We're currently in brittany - lovely beaches but the ones we've visited are all covered in seaweed/ algae which we don't want to swim in and it smells awful! We've never come across this before when visiting. We're near roscoff on the North Coast.
Anyone been recently and found a nice beach on this section of coast which isn't covered in algae? I understand its caused by pollution from farming which seems awful, but not sure how specific this is to each area?
