Family friendly
Decent budget
Near old town or able to travel there on bus.

Talamanca?

We like Cala Llonga. It has a family-friendly atmosphere, lots of nearby activities, a long promenade, playground, eclectic shops, and decent restaurants. You can rent pedalos, paddleboards and snorkel gear from the beach.

Another vote for Cala Llonga. It’s a nice safe sheltered bay, wide choice of places to eat, a playground and easy to get the bus into town.

We love Cala Llonga too, have stayed there twice. Lovely small beach, nice restaurants and all very chold friendly. I have teens but they love it too.

Child friendly that should say!

Thanks. Can anyone advise on hotels or accommodation in cala longa. I'm also looking at cala torrida.

Interested too, thanks OP. Looking at all inclusive maybe for early May, wondering if it would be warm enough at that stage.

Don't think my suggestions will be any use as the first year we stayed in the Cala Llonga resort right on the beach which was closed for refurbishment but I don't know if it's reopened yet? Can't seem to find out! The 2nd year we stayed in the Globales which unfortunately was very poor in my opinion. Do lots of research would be my suggestion and of course update us when you have booked 😀

There isn’t a great choice of hotels in Cala Llonga, or at least not high rise big entertainment resort-type hotels. That’s one of the things that makes it so lovely. Apartments or Airbnb is your best best.

We had a last minute booking there and stayed in El Pinar - it’s small and fairly basic but right next to beach and it’s family friendly. My DS was about 8 when we went and he made lots of friends
