Where to stay in Milan

We’re going for 3 nights in late October. Which is the most interesting area to stay in please? Any other recommendations gratefully received.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn near Villa San Giovanni station, the hotel
snd restaurant were well appointed.

It’s a reasonable distance from Linate airport too.
