Anyone been? Looking for Ideas or recommendations

What sort of holiday do you want? We did a mix of islands for snorkelling / beach and then onto the mainland for the jungle.

Ambergris Caye is a major tourist area but is really well located for snorkelling / scuba diving on the barrier reef. San Pedro has a nice vibe, lots of restaurants / bars. We also did a couple of days on Caye Caulker which were more laid back.

On the mainland we stayed in San Ignacio in Cayo and did day trips to nature reserves and the ancient Mayan sites.
