Somewhere Portugal/Spain/France, poss Med or Canaries - but it must have indoor pool and preferably full or half-board.

Something like Club Med but close to the sea - does it exist?

MARK WARNER'S Portugal resort has 5 pools, including an indoor one and one is adults only. Kids club was great, junior loved it, although he only went half days. The sea was freezing in May last year but in june should be better? But the pools were great anyway. One small toddlers pool. MW is now half board for most resorts, breakfast was very good. Villa was lovely, resort rather spread out but you'll put on less weight!

We were actually there the week after. It sounds really tough but it didn't spoil our holiday, we watched the news a lot to see if she'd been found and dodged journalists but with a three year old we couldn't afford to spoil his holiday and ours. Children can go missing/be abducted anywhere. The security in those apartments was great with double bolts on the doors, all the shutters locked and the staff in the resort were fantastic, balancing the need for compassion and concern with making sure new people enjoyed their hard-earned holiday. We felt perfectly safe leaving our son in kids club. I would think it unfair, though not surprising if the resort and the company suffer - they did nothing wrong.
