I love getting away as a family (5 of us) and appreciate that we're lucky enough to do it at least once a year.

But once it gets to the point of packing I just feel stressed and overwhelmed, leave it as late as possible and then stress over it even more.

So what tips do you all have for me?

I've seen some travel bloggers recommend AirTags in suitcases so they can track them, seemed a good idea. Also making snack pouches for the plan. And storage cubes seem popular (not sure how I'd actually execute that - a colour each? Separate outfits? 🤷🏼‍♀️)

TIA!

Was going to say packing cubes. Game changing. No pants flying all over the airport every time you get out your passport.

Put time and effort into developing a packing list. We have ours on Excel.
Then update it each year as necessary.

We have sections not only for 'Clothes' and 'Toys and Games', but also for 'jobs before leaving', 'paperwork', 'items for journey', and 'last minute'.

If possible, don’t do one suitcase for each person but instead spread each person’s clothes across multiple bags. That means if one bag gets lost in transit, everyone still has pants / swimwear etc.

I swear by cubes too now. I split by clothes type - so I’ll have two swimwear cubes and put half our swimwear in each. That then makes it easy to make sure I’ve got one swimwear cube in each suitcase

Would recommend getting a meetkangaroo.com tag on your luggage!
