Marrakech in March

I am thinking about going to Marrakech in March, i was just wondering if anyone has been in March and if the weather is nice? I checked online and it said it can be upto 22 degrees.

Also can you recommend a nice holiday?

I am thinking about booking all inclusive but I feel like maybe self catering would be better as from what I have been reading the food is great and cheap. Which option would you suggest?

Also which trips would you recommend?

I saw you can do a day trip to casablanca.

I've been to Marrakech in February and it never got colder than 20° so I would think that March would be lovely.

I really recommend this riad - it is posh-basic with no pool or anything but it is beautifully presented and in a good position near the Medina. riadsmorocco.com/riad-marrakech/azzouna-13/.

Another decent basic hotel is the Jnane Mogador, close to the Djemma el- Fnar. I'm sure that someone else will come along with fancier hotels if you would like that.

Essaouira is great for a short break - one or two days.

I went to Agadir in January and it was 24° nearly every day. Chilly in the evenings though.

I went in March this year, took off with snow on ground in London, it was about 35 degrees in Marrakech that weekend. We didn’t do AI, food was plentiful all over and yes lots of amazing restaurants costing a fraction of UK prices. Would love to go back some day.

Thank you all for the information.

So if you were going to eat and drink out for a week, how much roughly do you think it would cost? I know it can really vary but just to get an idea, for example how much would dinner for 2 with a few drinks cost?

Also what's the prices like for alcohol?

We stayed in 2ciels hotel the last time (did Road first year), and I found it the perfect compromise. Had a lovely roof top pool and bar area; breakfast was amazing, and it was about20 mins walk from the Medina so great to come back on an afternoon and chill.

Food and drink weren’t super cheap but not ridiculous either, think meal for 2 and a couple of drinks was probably around £60, but we did seek out naice places, there are lots of cheaper alternatives
