Luxury hotels that accommodate 3 children

Molowolo · 13/08/2023 17:59

I am looking for hotel ideas for next summer, where they have rooms that accommodate 3 children - without doubling or tripling the cost!

For example, looking at Park Lane in Cyprus - €500 with 2 children, €1500 with 2 children. Does my 3 year old really cost €1000 extra!?

So, if anyone can suggest a 5* hotel that has more room options I would be very grateful!

greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Spain etc…

Previously have stayed at Ikos resorts - but have same issue with rooms there.

thanks 🙏

Pine Cliffs Albufeira does 2 bedroom suites so that might work

Iberostar Selection Anthelia, Costa Adeje possibly

Domes of Elounda, Crete has 2 bedroom suites

Almyra, Paphos has family suites that can have 3 kids

Thanks for this. It’s the 2 bedroom suites that seem to cost a bomb. We don’t need a huge suite - just a proper family / large room. Lots of the rooms in Dubai, for example, have 2 x queen beds plus a rollaway.

Most hotels seem to have standard room for a family of 4, or a 2 bed suite and nothing in between.

I’ll look into all of those though, thank you

Ah okay, I’d misunderstood

Yes I think many of the family rooms have 2 kids maximum - Almyra family rooms you can have 3 kids in I believe.

Other ones you can have three in a family / superior family room / family suite:

Radisson Blu in Puerto de Mogan, Gran Canaria
Lopesan Costa Meloneras, Meloneras, Gran Canaria
Lopesan Baobab, Meloneras, Gran Canaria
Princess Yaiza, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Elba Estepona, Costa del Sol

Euphoria, Crete
Olympic Lagoon Resort, Paphos
Stella Palace, Crete
MarBella Mar-Bella, Corfu

You might do better going direct to the hotels rather than through a package company if you’re not already, sometimes the package companies can be stricter than the hotels themselves on room occupancy

Would you not consider an Airbnb or villa?

Molowolo · 13/08/2023 20:18

We did a villa this summer, and it’s lovely to do that and have the space - but sometimes it’s nice to be in a hotel where you don’t have to lift a finger!

Thanks for suggestions so far.

I guess another alternative would be interconnecting rooms…

Appolian Asterias in Kefalonia does a two story villa with 5 beds. We went last year. Need lots of space due to sen but was very good.

Currently at Lyttos Beach in a family room with our two kids. The room is split into two with a door, first is a twin room with own bathroom, then door, then larger room with a huge bed plus a proper single. We’ve seen quite a lot of families of 5 here. Not sure if pricing differs though if you have 5 staying rather than 4.

We went to the Rixos premium Tekirova this year and they have two bedroom rooms, the second room has 2 singles and an extra pull out bed. It wasn’t much more expensive for the 2 bed room than a double.
