Wanted please, hidden gem of a hotel.

Anywhere in Europe - two to three hour flight.
Sunny.
Open spaces.
Walking distance to a town or village.
Beachside (preferably)
Adult only but not a deal breaker.
Less than £2,500 per adult for 10 days.

I think I'm probably expecting far too much. 😉😀

Oh I’m sorry! We’ve not actually been yet but are paying roughly £400 a night for next Spring - that’s wild how expensive it is in the summer

I hadn’t realised it was a bargain! We did book almost as soon as it re-opened this year as DH’s colleague went for work and said it was glorious. And of course there is a price difference between Spring (we are going late May) and August but over 3 times the price is a big difference and outside the industry standard

The Lido Palace at Lake Garda. Not beachside but right on the lake.

Restia suites in Corfu is quite nice and adult only. Great pool suites

Checked with DH who has organised.

Apparently it’s not actually opened yet but his colleague was on a preview trip.

So that might be why it’s so expensive if it’s the opening couple of weeks.

We just stayed (my adult dds and i) at can picafort park hotel.
Lovely large grounds where we had sunbeds under the trees daily. A 5 min walk to the prom along the sea front. Food and staff nice. Adults only was a treat!

we loved Rovinj.

Sawdays is also good. We travelled through France for 2 weeks, staying in B&Bs from the guide. Didn't have one negative experience.

Was going to suggest anywhere in Soller. Further than 3 hours but Caesar Gardens in Lindos meets all of your other criteria and has offers on just now

We have stayed here quite a few times. Lovely rooms and pool areas, beautiful cove at end of street, 10 minute walk uphill into village (lots of bars and restaurants) also quick and cheap bus into Palma- we get a cab to the big blingy marina at Puerto portals (about 8 euros) or walk to Roxy's beach bar .

another Soller hotel- some of the rooms are a tiny bit dated but I thought it was a gem.
