Rome apartment hotel or other family accommodation

I’m looking for accommodation for a family of four in Rome. Not willing to do the everyone in one room thing so please give me any tips for hotels which contain apartments - and I’d consider just outside of Rome, doesn’t have to be in the city centre. Or hotels with family suites, or great self catering options.

We stayed in an airbnb which had 3 bedrooms and a kitchen/diner. It was great! Will see if I can find it - it may be more £ now though as had only just launched when we stayed.

You definitely need an airbnb. Go onto the website and have a search, there is so much choice depending on your requirements.
We have been using airbnb ever since my DC turned teens. Everyone gets their own space, but we are still altogether iyswim. Works out so much cheaper than booking two rooms.
