Family hotel between Bristol and Stoke

Does anyone have any suggestions for a family hotel between Bristol and Stoke on Trent? Looking for somewhere with a pool and nice grounds to explore/play in. Thank you!

Calcot & Spa, Tetbury is a lovely stay for families, but might be too close to Bristol if you were hoping for something midway

This may not be what you are looking for and maybe too close to Stoke, but I stayed at the Holiday Inn Iron Bridge in Telford for a nearby wedding.

It has a pool, is next to a park, and is close to attractions in Shropshire. It also has some kids eat free deals.
