Warm holiday in Feb

Can anyone recommend somewhere decent to go for a week in Feb.

Somewhere that doesn't cost the earth but is warm! Thanks.

Any of the Canary Islands really. My personal favourite is Lanzarote.

I went to Lanzarote one February and although it was warm enough in the day, it was flipping freezing in the evening, it’s the wind. I was wearing ankle boots/jeans/jacket and I was still cold when walking out for a meal.

Have you considered Cape Verde ?

Gran Canaria is lovely that time of year. I can recommend Meloneras, lovely resort. Also visit Las Palmas the main town.

Sharm el Sheikh is nicely worm in February. We have been in Dec & Jan; some pools may be a bit cool if not heated but plenty of people go in the sea and you can certainly get a few hours of sunbathing. The second time we went, we deliberately booked a hotel with heated pools (there was a lot of choice) and it made all the difference. At night it got a bit chilly, but we could still sit outside in the evenings.

Lanzarote would be good!

Average temp in Lanzarote in Feb is around 20. Wound that be hot enough?

@Rupiduti Its inevitably limited in the Mediterranean, ie cheap flights. Winter Sun is always further south if you want higher temps. You could look at Morocco, Egypt and Turkey. Florida, Caribbean and Mexico are the obvious longer haul options.

We are planning on Thailand.

We did Hurghada last Feb and it was a bit mixed weather, but there were sunny days.

We're planning on Tenerife for February next year hoping for 20 degrees so a nice temperature to explore the island a bit. I find it too hot in the summer holidays to do anything other than sit by the pool

Madeira. It's very pretty, lush and floral. About 4.5 hour flight from the UK.
