Best beach 2 hours from Luton airport

Hello! For various reasons we're not able to have a holiday this year, so I'm dreaming of better times next year for a sunny beach holiday with our toddler.
Can anyone recommend a warm beach or river destination within 2 hours of Luton Airport (2.5 hrs acceptable max). Needs to be relatively easy to get to with a toddler. Looking to go spring/summer 24.

EasyJet fly from Luton to Menorca in 2h20.

Menorca is great with little ones as it’s a small island so transfer time at the other end is usually short.

My go to recommendation for little ones is Royal Son Bou Family Club in Son Bou. Brilliant kids facilities, direct access to a beautiful safe sandy beach. About 25 mins transfer which the hotel provides or can be booked through Jet2 (although from Stansted rather than Luton).

I'm not sure whether you mean driving or flying? I was going to say Bournemouth is lovely at just over 2 hours drive away but someone else is mentioning menorca so perhaps I got the wrong end of stick 🥲

I had assumed flying because of the mention of a sunny beach - it may be I’m just struggling to imagine a sunny beach in the UK because of the seemingly endless rain this summer!

Don't worry this was rare sunny afternoon. We went to a different beach this evening and it was cold and misty. It actually started spitting about 20 minutes after I took that picture 🤣

Ive just come back from Son Bou OP I can confirm it was bloody brilliant. I'll see if I can attach a couple of pics.

We just came back this morning from Insotel Punta Prima, Menorca. Flew from Luton just over 2 hours flight and 20 minute transfer to hotel from airport. Lovely hotel with lots of facilities for kids and lovely small beach very close to resort. Would defo recommend!

Benalmadena is always my recommendation with toddlers as it’s 20 min from Malaga airport and there’s a huge promenade you can walk/push the pram along for hours with little playgrounds along the way. There’s a zoo and a tiny funfair nearby as well as the aquarium.
