Hi, DH is just about to book really special holiday at Vila Vita Parc for us (4dcs between 17 and 6) and I want to know whether it is worth it - this would be a big one off holiday for us as eldest dc will be leaving school next summer . Rooms would be in Oasis Parc. Also I am very panicy at thought of flying on holiday and - weirdly - flying back at night so would love some advice on that. Holiday would be in August - would it be much too hot? Please please let me know views asap as DH is on a mission

hi - we went in april last year and had a great time. at that time it was very quiet, and weather pleasant

good facilities and incredibly helpful staff. can't remember the name of our accommodation but it was a 2 bed garden suite apartment thingy. plenty of room, and air conditioned

didn't use the creche but most families did. spent most days at the beach or poolside

good choice of food (even though not all the resturants were open when we went)

if you're there for a week only you'll probably be happy to stay put. longer and you should hire a car to explore as there's not much to do immediately outside the hotel complex

i hate flying btw, but found the journey fine - flight was pretty short, and we were met by a driver at the airport. transfer less than an hour

Fab, fab, fab, except that we tried to eat at the fancy restaurant with our then three year old ds1 and were given a frosty reception.
