Just wondered if anyone is in Rhodes or recently come back and how it is over there at the moment - we have Lindos booked for 21st August (2 teens and 2 adults)

We're in Ixia in the north at the moment and it is fine. Not sure where Lindos is in relation to us though. The weather is lovely, around 31 today but quite breezy.

I’m here now at the Lindos Princess Beach. All fine here no sign of fires in the immediate vicinity. It’s beautiful and I’m pleased they are able to start getting money back in after being closed. I phoned the hotel beforehand to check all was ok and if they wanted guests or would rather people stayed away. That put my mind at rest a lot.

It’s probably a lot quieter than it usually is but to be honest that’s a bonus (for me, obviously not for the hotel) - plenty of loungers free round the pool and at the beach.
