So, we tried to use tesco credit card to book a flight to USA through Expedia. Website kept giving error message for card and wouldnt process booking so we left it a few days then booked through a travel agent using a different credit card.
Just gone onto tesco online banking and found a payment was taken for the 1st attempted flight booking but no confirmation of anything was ever sent from Expedia after the error message.
The flight is with BA. BA keep saying we need to sort it with expedia, Expedia keep saying need to sort it with BA.
(Expedia are even trying to claim the booking wasn't through them as the bank statement shows BA and if through them it would show Expedia - we know this is wrong as we booked another flight a different time occasion through Expedia and if showed as easyjet on our bank statement)
Any advice on how we get our £500 back for the supposedly 'failed' booking??! Email the ceo of Expedia?
