Iberostar Anthelia or GF Victoria

Can anyone recommend one of these hotels/has views on which would be better or have any other recommendations?

Single parent with 2 DC (12 and 9). One DC very sporty and into football/basketball etc. other likes a bit of entertainment. Both love the pools and slides - not so bothered about a beach. Looking to go AI ideally.

Have to admit these type of holidays are not my dream holiday, but have accepted if the kids are happy then I can at least relax! We’ve been to Iberostar Lanzarote a couple of times and really enjoy it (it never feels too big and busy) but was thinking something with a bit more for the kids to do might be good.

Not stayed in either of those hotels but we’ve been to the resort several times. Both look amazing from the outside. I love the look of the sky pool at the GF Victoria.

We went to Anthelia in June. It is really lovely. It’s very close to a water park (Siam park) and there is an inflatable water park in the sea by the beach in town, 15 mins walk away. Entertainment every night. We also did a boat trip to see whales and dolphins in the wild, not expensive and you can do from local town. Food was great. We had a wonderful holiday and I hope you do too!

Stayed in GF Victoria last year with kids aged 9 & 11. We loved it. Kids loved it. It’s a really nice hotel. Rooms are nice. Pools are nice. Excellent service. Don’t think they did AI when we were there.

Thanks both!

We were at the Anthelia last week. Lovely hotel, right by the beach, huge, lots of activities, nice clean pools, very good food. We loved it.

Thanks - can I ask re Anthelia are the kids slides quite small?

im really torn as ideally I’d like AI ( kids find it hugely exciting and makes life easier!) and like Iberostar as a chain so tending towards the Anthelia. But know the kids would love the bigger slides of GF.

I didn't see any kids slides, although there was a water play area with a pirate ship that might've had slides? That area was for toddlers, definitely not 12 and 9 year olds.

I’m also trying to decide between these two! Any further info would be great 😊
