Anyone been to multiple centreparcs? Looking to see which one to book for winter lights etc.

I've been to Sherwood which we all found a bit meh. Walks not that long or great, lodge generally felt run down, pool was a big let down (dirty and absolutely rammed, we all got ear infections) but that was pre-covid so might be more spruced up by now. This year I tried Whinfell which was lovely, but I paid extra for a nicer lodge, and we got extremely lucky with the weather so everything just felt nicer. I'd definitely go back to that one!

Depends who is going to an extent, Longleat is nice, but it's very hilly. That may not be an issue, but it meant our 4 year old couldn't ride her bike as much as she'd have liked.

Been to Whinfell and Longleat. Massively preferred Longleat - the pool was better and it was a bigger site. Don't like the hills there though, but there is a land train to make up for it!

At Sherwood now but usually do Whinfell. Although the spa here is lovely overall I prefer Whinfell. The pool here feels small, outdoor pool is rubbish, playparks aren't as good, gym hall is smaller...and the accommodation feels smaller and run down.

I've been to Longleat, Woburn and Elveden. Longleat is the biggest and has the best facilities, but it is huge so it is a long walk between the different parts. I like Woburn, it is newer and therefore a bit nicer, and it is more compact so you can get easily between the different parts. I think Longleat might be better when the children are older but right now mine aren't brilliant at walking long distances so Woburn is better. Elveden was OK but my least favourite of the three.

100% Sherwood from the 3 you’re closest to.

Longleat is massive and very hilly. Unless you pay extra to choose where your lodge is, you can end up a very long and hilly walk/cycle from activities.

Woburn is tiny and very hilly. It is too small for us and the hills make cycling difficult (my children simply can’t cycle those hills due to steepness). The swim area is smaller and slightly fewer activities too

Sherwood is big but fairly flat so you can comfortably walk or cycle around the entire village. Larger size means more activities and bigger swim area (which has been upgraded in last 4 years)

Elvedon.

Which I know you didn't ask about!!!

I've done Woburn (small site and hilly) and longeat (large and hilly) ! And prefer Elvedon over them both and have done their Christmas lights too.

It also has the better swimming centre.

We are going back for a week at the end of august.

I like whinfel as it doesn’t matter about the weather with the centre being indoors but I love the Aquadome at Sherwood, although if you have small children whinfel might be better?
