Sorry if this has been done a thousand times before but I am flying to Spain tomorrow to see my parents, with DS (17 months). It's not his first time on a flight, but I usually have DH with me to help with distactions.... What can I do with him (he has a VERY short attention span) for 2 1/2 hours that won;t annoy everyone else?

Put all toys in seperate plastic bag in your hand luggage so you know where to delve in .... STickers lots of them ...Stick them on the table on you on the window I found things like ITNG magazine was great, ,small toys , lift the flap touchy feely books...crayons / paper. DD loved the plastic cup and my empty waterbottle - played with it for a good 15 mins.
Fave teddy or toy ...non sticky snacks.Oh and slipper socks or a clean pair of socks. SO he can climb on you / the seat - After seeing the state of aircraft floors you will want to change them. Have a good time

Books, Various toys (small) to bring out one at a time. If you have a portable DVD then take it......... crayola colour wonder pens and pad (they dont colour on anything other than the specific paper)
Food, a short walk up and down when the flight has taken off.
Also take rescue remedy spray for yourself and your DS spraying both of you an take off, it calms everyone down
