Anyone in Rhodes?

We are due to fly out to Kolympia in a couple of weeks time.
my dd has a medical condition that involves her airways.

It seems kolympia is untouched by the fires but I was wondering what the infrastructure is like currently in terms of electricity? Also the air quality following the fires?

we really aren’t sure if we should or shouldn’t be going. But as so many are finding, insurance won’t cover cancelling without foreign office advice.

I’m not in Rhodes at the moment but will be flying out in a few days. The fires are all out now and the tour operators are getting back to normal. Only if you’re staying in Kiotari or Gennedi will you see evidence of the fires (or if you take a drive inland). Kolympia was always too far away from the fires to be impacted at all. You’ll be absolutely fine, go and enjoy your holiday.

Also the power and water outages have now been fixed. Should be business as normal.
