Where to visit near Zurich?

Hi

I've booked a long weekend flying into Zurich but can't decide whether to stay in Zurich or perhaps get a train to somewhere else.

I'll be travelling solo with my 2 year old who travels well. I've seen Swiss holiday park which looks lovely. Just wondering if there's any other recommendations please?

Interlaken

Lucerne - Transport museum, boat across lake and train ride up Rigi or Pilatus mountain.

By the side of the lake is a lovely play park with water fountains, play equipment, sand, a big cafe, changing areas, etc. You could entertain a 2 year old for hours in there! There is an admission fee but it's reasonable. We found Zurich very, very expensive.

Another vote for Lucerne. Really pretty and the train ride itself is lovely.
