Best time to book Brittany ferry?

I'm looking at a holiday in Brittany for next July. Is it worth me booking straight away now that the bookings are open or is it better to wait til nearer the time for offers/discounts?

I'm totally unfamiliar with ferry travel and pricing dynamics!

Any advice greatly appreciated 😊

ive booked today for next year and really easy to do and by booking early bird and paying in full found it £40 cheaper than looking at standard where you pay deposit now and rest later on , and earlier in the year looked near the month we wanted (june) and by going long range its £200 cheaper than this year hope this meakes sense and helps

I’ve never seen them offer discounts for late booking in school holidays. The main offers are for things like day trips to France. I would book now if you know your dates. It might be worth booking the slightly more expensive flexible fare. The fares on peak dates tend to rise as the ferries fill up if anything.
