Haven advice please!

Hi, I'm thinking of booking Haven, to go in one weeks time. Does anyone have experience of the online booking system? Specifically how booked up it gets?
If we won't be able to swim daily and see the night time kids shows, I think I'd be better off looking for something else.
Any advice appreciated!

I booked last minute at Easter, and most activities were booked up, but we did manage to get a few (the more expensive activities were the only ones with availability). I was able to see availability before booking on the website - I got a link from live chat.

Swimming was really odd - you got something random like 12 sessions total, regardless of the number of people in the party, or the length of stay.

Thanks, that's really helpful! It's only the swimming and kids shows that we're interested in, so I'll try the live chat and ask for a link.

We went to Hopton Haven last weekend, booked 2 swim sessions a day on the app in advance but were able to book more on the day, some sessions were full but not all. The kids shows also had availability on the day. Only things that had completely booked up were the climbing and inflatables course, we didn't book in advance because weren't sure what we hold want to do.

We did Allhallows at half term Mon-Fri. We swam four days and did the kids entertainment every night - there was plenty of space and it was really great. There were also quite a few other free bits - we watched films at the outdoor cinema on a couple of days with ice cream, they did a creature experience thing where the kids got to see and learn about various animals, and there was a kind of Wish.com Andy and his dinosaur (I'm underplaying it but DS was fascinated). There was mid morning free kids craft every day too although we only did that once.

We booked up a few extra paid for activities too - making a sand art bottle, a nature walk with craft bits and Nerf wars. Prices ranged between £5-£8 (which I thought was good for what you got).

Most of the free stuff but swimming you just rocked up to. Paid for stuff and swimming was booked through the app which was really simple.

We loved it and are plotting a return!

Thanks that's reassuring! Those Havens sound fab, but too far away for us!
