Need some help and inspiration please

Hello all. I want to take my 13 year old to Europe by train if possible.
I once asked on here about good holiday destinations and was recommended Duinrell. Fantastic place that we have been to often so I'm hoping for similar inspiration.
I would quite like France, would need to be on a bit of a budget. Any hostel type holidays we could try please?
Ideally would like to get the Eurostar and would prefer the end of August.
Any help gratefully received!

Try Domaine de Crecy - it’s a campsite with caravans on the outskirts of Paris, with a train station right next door. It takes about 30 mins to the centre of Paris.
