Ds looks NOTHING like his passport photo

Is this a problem?
The picture was taken when he was about 14m old. He's now 5.
Just don't want to be refused entry at the airport.

I can't see how anyone could expect him to look anything like his 14mo self. The whole passport for the under 5's thing is laughable imo. We have the same problem - dd is 11 months old in her passport photo and we will be taking her away in a couple of months at 3.10yrs.

I can't see you (or me for that matter!) having any problems, this must happen hundreds of times every day.

Hulababy · 25/02/2008 21:19

No, not a problem. DD's first passport had a photo of her at 2 days old - she used it just before she turned 5yo. So she looked absolutely nothing like her photo at all!

nor do any of my children. would be fine

PeachesMcLean · 25/02/2008 21:20

Daft isn't it?
Alternative would be to renew every year, which would be a pain though.
They don't tend to scrutinise children's photos too carefully, IIRC. And I guess they accept that babies grow

Thanks for reassurance
You're right, it must happen all the time. Just having a little panic.

Now as for mine, well I look like a woman possessed. Do you think they'll let me in?
