Hotels with Waterparks europe

Hi all, we’re a family of 5, kids are 11, 12 &14. We’ve done euro camps for years which we’ve all enjoyed but the kids are growing out of them. Has anyone any recommendations for hotels with water parks or very close to a water park that would suit and keep them entertained for a few hours everyday. Apartment type hotels ( or bungalows on site )ideally but open to any accommodations with at least two bedrooms, near a town also as we won’t be hiring a car but like to stroll into a town for dinner of an evening. Many thanks for any ideas.

We were a family of six and absolutely loved Port Aventura and Caribe in Salou at that age. Been 4 times. Port Aventura is a massive theme park (think Alton Towers) and next door, Caribe is a big waterpark. We were big Disney Land Paris fans (got annual passes etc.) and we found PA to be at least as good, if not better, and a lot cheaper, especially if you got bigger duration passes. To get there, you have two choices, either fly into REUS and get a taxi (I think it is about 10km) or fly into Barcelona and get the train from the airport into Sants (i think) and then back out down the coast (about an 1.30 hours, but slightly weird timetable if I remember), and there is actually a stop called Port Aventura, before you get to Salou, and then walk to your accommodation (about 25 mins). We've used various, but latterly Aquarius because they were the cheapest and an "acceptable walk" to both the theme parks and the beach, but there are tons of accom choices nearby, depends on your budget really. I wouldn't rave about Aquarius, but it did the job.
