Best was Devon cliffs, followed by seashore. Love the orchards (used to be owners there) but it’s a quieter park. Wasn’t keen on Hopton or all hallows (but they’ve upgraded it since we last went). Also been to weymouth bay (great location), rockley park (middle of nowhere and not much to do off park) Combe haven (nice but nothing amazing)

Caister Haven in Norfolk is nice. Looks like it's been updated recently, just over the dunes and you're on the beach ( not a busy one ).

We did Thorpe Park in May and the site was lovely!

Visited Blue Dolphin a couple of years ago and it felt quite shabby!

I've been to two

Bognor Regis - which felt more spacious with a less regimented layout. Beaches are stony, and it's on the edge of the town so rather a schlep (or take the car) but there were seafront arcades/cafes within easy distance

Mablethorpe - more activities (though the evening entertainment was absolutely rammed) and the vans were more closely arranged in straight lines. Very close to a huge beach with dunes, but a long walk from the town (a bit over a mile)

Both were fine

Hafan y mor was the best. The waterpark, activity village and location are perfect.

The worst was cala gran. Poor choice of activities and very run down.

Ooh glad you enjoyed it, we are there in September 😄

We like Hafan Y Mor and Caister. Ds's favourite was Thorpe Park.

I wasn't keen on the one in Northumberland. Think is Haggerton Castle, but it was a while ago we went.

Hafan y Mor is our fave and we go regularly cause its not far. Loads of activites and a waterpark(great in bad weather) mean there's plenty to do. Only been to 2 other parks and neither of them are as good.

@TravellingSpoon Awful experience at Haggerston this spring. We left 24 hours into our Mon-Fri stay.
Had a fab time at Seton Sands last year

Seashore Haven is the best for young kids, so nice

I've only been to one, Craig Tara, we enjoyed it and the pool is fantastic.

Only been to Hopton and Rockley Park but we loved both! I know a previous poster said there is nothing around Rockley Park but we tend to go here there and everywhere, so it didn't matter to us
