Insurance for child travelling without adults on policy

Hi all wondering if anyone knows the answer to this
My 13 yo daughter is going on holiday travelling with my friend. My friend can’t add her on her travel insurance (she checked) as she’s not her child. Her insurance Co said I should get a policy as an adult with my child that allows independent travel for the child. Has anyone done this before and knows of a policy? Google isn’t helping! Thank you

Yes I've done it in the past

I did this for a 17 year old travelling with his friends (all 18). We found it really hard to find a company that would cover him but used one called Coverwise in the end. We had annual family travel insurance but that only covered the kids while they were travelling with us (parents) or on a school trip.

We used JS Insurance in the past for DD.

We have used Staysure for this before. They need to be travelling with an adult (though doesn't need to be a parent).
