Is Brittany club voyage worth it?

Does anyone have a membership to France that can advise whether they think it’s worth it? We are going this summer on the overnight st malo route, I think it came to £1100 in total (return from Caen).
We are thinking this would be an ideal way to holiday whilst kids are still small and was looking into getting the membership, it advertises up to 35% off but when you look into the terms and conditions in peak season it’s only actually 5% unless you have been a member for years. Its £120 for the first year.
we are only going to be going once a year really in the summer holidays (so peak!) so I can’t see that the saving makes sense or am I missing something?

I used to have this but stopped during COVID and did not start again as I saw only 5 percent in the busy season and that is when I go.

I once rang up and asked them to quote for a sailing without membership, then give me the price with membership. The discount was less than the annual membership fee and I only intend to go once a year so it wasn't worth it for us.

Yes that’s what I was thinking. 5% isn’t much at all, good job I checked the terms and conditions as I got quite excited at the advertised discount of 35%!
