Christmas break with 2 year olds

Hello, looking for ideas for holiday over the Xmas period - we have 2 year old twins

prefer UK, mainly as we have never flown with them before, so that makes me nervous. However open to suggestions abroad that are not long haul

Centre Parcs is lovely over Christmas. The lodges are so cosy and it’s nice wrapping up warm for a woodland walk if it’s dry or hitting the tropical swimming centre if it’s not.
