Recommendations for Canary island resort for 9 and 12 year olds?

We tend to go away every Easter, and generally head to the canaries for guaranteed sun. My DC are at an awkward ‘too old for kids club, but too young for independence’ age though.

Does anyone have recommendations for (not tooooo pricey) resorts that might work? Maybe somewhere with go karting, water sports, climbing etc?

Thank you!

We went to Gran Canaria in Feb to a resort called Taurito. We went with Jet2.

the resort is on its own and a sort of triangle with a central area surrounded by hotels. In the centre is a small beach, a water park, park, mini golf and arcade. A couple of the hotels (including where we stayed) had all inclusive access to the central facilities.

Our kids are young, but I remembered thinking at the time it would be a great resort for older kids. It’s very contained so they could go off by themselves, but be very safe. As parents you could easily sit by the pool and have a Birds Eye view of everything in the central area.

That sounds great. Thank you @Twizbe I’ll take a look.

What sort of budget?

OutDamnedSpot · 16/07/2023 16:40

Under £2k per person (as far under as possible 😂)

Then look at GF Victoria - it’s great for teens and tweens

I'd also suggest GF Victoria

That looks absolutely fab. No ‘kids go free’ during the dates I need though so I might need to keep searching for something that’s slightly less pppn. I’ll keep looking at other providers for GF Victoria too though.
