Ready to drink formula in hand luggage

I've ready the airport rules below and think I'll be ok but just want some reassurance - A couple of 200ml sealed ready to use formula containers will be ok in my hand luggage won't they?

  • Baby feed and drink for the journey may travel in quantities greater than required in the Hand (cabin) Baggage ‘liquids’ Restrictions and there is no need for a clear resealable plastic bag. Formula or baby feed is not sold at the airport.
  • Sterilised water within a bottle is permitted.
  • Feed of any consistency and drink will be machine tested.
  • If feeds are within sealed containers and in large amounts, the security staff will select a random sample to be tested.

Yes absolutely fine, but take more than you need just in case of delays

Yes its fine, you take them out if your bag to go through the scanner, same as electronics etc

Yes, fine to take however much you need for the trip plus extra to allow for delays or hold luggage not arriving in time. We took 12 bottles once for a trip to NZ and weren’t even asked to justify why we had so much.

You can order it to the Boots in the airport and then pick it up after you have had your hand luggage checked.

Yes it’s fine, so long as you’re travelling with baby and it’s a reasonable quantity for your flight so like a day’s worth not a whole crate. Just declare it at security and they usually choose a bottle at random to go through a special liquid scanner. So allow a bit of extra time for that but otherwise don’t worry.
