Strikes at Gatwick

Typically we are flying with easyJet from Gatwick on the two weekends the strikes have been planned. Part of me is wondering whether I should rebook flights from another airport, although obviously I will lose money. How long is a piece of string… but how bad do you think it’ll be? I would be gutted if we lose a day (or more) of holiday.

Same here but booked holiday with TUI not going to change anything, it could be called off like the Heathrow ones.

I'm hoping it'll get called off too - I'm also flying with EJ on one the strike dates!

I didn’t think it would even be a possibility that it would be called off. I’ll keep everything crossed. 😭

We are meant to return on the 28th July. Trying to get through to BA but no luck yet. We won’t enjoy our holiday if we are worrying about getting home.

Same. First ever flying holiday with the kids - out on 28th and back the following Saturday. Both short haul 🫣😭😭😭

We are flying out on the 31st July for a holiday to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. I will be beyond gutted if we can't go - it's the first proper holiday DH and I have had alone together and we're really looking forward to it.
