Majorca with kids which area?

Hi, planning a holiday to Majorca with baby and 2 yo. I haven't a clue which area would be best to stay to narrow down the accommodation search. I want somewhere near beach & lively enough in October but nightlife is irrelevant!!!! Will need a kitchen for bottle prep etc.
Any recommendations for an area / particular accommodation?

Playa Mar in Puerto Pollensa

It depends a little what time in October - the earlier in October the livelier places will be.

Puerto Pollensa is usually pretty open until the end of half term, as are Cala D’Or and Puerto Alcudia. Palma Nova would probably be a safe bet too.

Have heard good things about:

The Inturotel apartment hotels (Cala D’Or)
Viva Eden Lago (Alcudia)
Iberostar Ciudad Blanca (Alcudia)
Hoposa Villaconcha (Pollensa)

Cala d' or is lovely for children , that was our go to holiday when we had young children

I was also going to say it depends when in October. Cala Millor and Sa Coma are both family friendly with excellent beaches but both largely close down by mid October. Not much still open by half term.

Cala D Or . We went there every year with our children. Lots of beaches that were easy to get to,restaurants and not tacky! Am going again this year with my granddaughter and family. I actually love this place…my happy place TBH .

This. Lots of pretty little coves with shallow water and rock pools.

I'd also choose Cala D'Or. The little cove beaches are absolutely beautiful and safer for little ones.

I didn't really like Puerto Pollensa, found it very meh.
