We love Italy and are hoping to go back next year. We've previously been to Rome, Venice, Verona, Pesciera and the Amalfi coast. Ideally we would like to fly and travel by train rather than hire a car.
Any suggestions please for some sight seeing followed by relaxing by a pool?

@craigth162 Generally poor in stations etc I've found. We noticed it when we were taking lifts etc when we had our son in the buggy and often commented on how must worse it must be for people in wheelchairs.

Once you're actually ON the public transport it's fine though. I saw wheelchair spaces on every bus and train we went on.

From my experience traveling with small children I agree that train stations are not so modern generally and not all platforms have lifts or ramps for example. 😬

Thank you! Lots of ideas to investigate. Have you been to these places? Any favourites?

I love Genoa such a beautiful place
