Travelling with Vodafone

Hi does anyone know if you upgrade your plan with Vodafone just for a holiday you can switch back when you are back? Eg I want to increase my roaming from European to international but don't want to be stuck paying another £7 each month after holidays. Thanks

It looks as if you can buy a roaming pass although I have yet to see anything in the actual shop about it, have you tried logging in to your Vodafone account?

Thank you - the first link appears to be for ireland. My husband has been in the shop and they said to call customer services, which seems a bit backwards given the app... I was hoping I could just switch the plan up and down.

I bought a 15 day roaming pass for my recent trip. I did it by text. It was for European roaming but probably can do it for further afield too

I've just found this via text - it's not in the app which is where I was looking but found via Google - thanks!

I just changed my phone contract and if you take the one without data roaming then he said you can add a temporary package when needed. from memory it was £6 for 8 days in Europe which for the amount i’d need it was less than paying an additional fee per month to have it all the time.

Well it's still
Not happening! Did the text thing to add the bundle. Get reply "we did not understand that message"
Ring customer services. They tell me I already have roaming. Yes I have European but need American. Can I add that. We don't know. On hold for 20 mins. Get cut off. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
