I in the process of getting my boys lasted name changed to mines legally but we’re looking to go to Disneyland Paris would need to get passports under there other name, but when we got it changed would I able to change these or would I need to buy new ones ?

I’ve read your op three times and don’t understand your question.

are you saying if your change your sons’s legal name do you have to change the passport name. I’m not sure - you’d need to ask them- but when I got married I just carried on using my maiden name passport until it expired. I’d hope you could do the same.

sorry Yeah we’re changing there last names legally so will be known by a different surnames but says it’s least going take about 10 months to do this.

I think that you can leave the passport in the old name and take the documentation showing the change to the new name, if that's what the tickets are purchased under (it worked when we got married anyway).

It’s much better to have tickets and passports in the same name particularly for children.

Yeah as long as your tickets are booked in the same name as what’s on the passport they’ll be travelling on you’ll be fine
