Off to Dublin ...... not first timers but would like to see a bit more!

We are staying just off O'Connell street. Would like to go somewhere different for drinkies, we always end up in the Oliver St. JOhn Gogarty's or the Arlington Hotel.

So any ideas would be great as we are taking friends who havent been before and would like to have a bit of a different experience

Go for a drink to the recently done up Shelbourne Hotel on St Stephens Green for a treat.
Go for a pint in Keoghs on St Anne St just off Grafton Street.

Whats Keoghs like Carmenere?

It is a top place, a really good traditional Dublin pub with a really good pint. I spent a good portion of my 20's there

Ooh great will try that then. Where abouts off Grafton is it? Bottom end near BT or top end?
