Cordial Marina Blanca anyone?

Anyone been?
I like the Cordial Mogan in Gran canaria and think this would be similar, being the same group.
Not been to playa blanca in lanza though.
Any thoughts? Just DH and I, october probably.

I haven't stayed there, but have you looked at TripAdvisor? It's a good starting point for hotel reviews that are up to date. As for Playa Blanca, it's not charming like Puerto de Mogan, but it's fine as a base for exploring Lanzarote. It's just a bit soulless tbh. There are lots of nice towns to explore though - my favourites were Haria and Teguise.

I love Puerto Mogan. We go every Christmas but stay in the harbour not the Cordial Mogan Playa or Valle.

We are actually going to Playa Blanca in 10 days time and it will be interesting to see the new Cordial Marina. We're actually not staying there but very near by in one of the Volcan Hotel Villas.

I've not been to Playa Blanca before and am not expecting it to be like Puerto Mogan as I know it is much bigger and more spread out. But I want the breeze at this time of year which I know Playa Blanca has !

Overall I think the standard of the Cordial group offerings are fairly similar from what I can see from regulars who post on Trip Advisor and stay in Puerto Mogan and at the Cordial Green Golf near Maspalomas so would anticipate the same type of standard in Playa Blanca. The fact that the PB Cordial is fairly new is going to be a bonus and I think it's got a great position right by the Marina with a good selection of restaurants and only 20 minutes walk along the prom to the beach etc.

I know this doesn't answer any of your questions as I haven't been ! but I agree with you that I think the standard will be replicated and even more so being new.

Thanks, thats all quite helpful actually, even in the fact that ye agree its bound to be the same standard. I liked Mogan but tbh I wasnt mad about the beach there or the sea around it for swimming. We had a fabulous holiday there no doubt about it though.
Im not bothered about the soulless bit either, i want 10 days of just dh and I hanging around together going for walks and nice dinners out. lanza suits cos i can do 10 days flightwise, i cant for Gran canaria from my airport.
