Hi has anyone got any ideas on where to take a 6year old girl and 14 year old boy on holiday next year? We went to Eurocamp Rome last year and loved it as had the right balance of our own space, brilliant pool, activities such and mini golf and Rome itself. We’ve also enjoyed Side Turkey and Tunisia.
I don’t want to go somewhere and just sit by the pool and do like activities to go. I looked at Greece and Cyprus but I’m not sure if there will be enough for my eldest to do.
if anyone has any resort recommendations as well that will be great. I don’t want us to spend one week the four of us within one hotel room as my son needs his own space. He has asd as well.

Similar sort of age gap here. I would suggest Lake Garda, Croatia, Slovenia. Mix of activities for all ages. Also - how about Barcelona. Loads to do there but also a beach if you want some chill time as well. We have also had fun camping in Brittany.

If you enjoyed Eurocamp Rome, then you’d probably enjoy Vilanova Park near Barcelona. My DS is a similar age and he loved Barcelona, especially the Barca stadium tour and museum.

Cruise loads to do and the kids clubs are great for the 6 year old. Ours loved cruises when they were teenagers as they had freedom and hung around with other teens. Plenty of space for chilling out too.

La Carabasse - with Siblu. Teen/kids activities laid on. Football pitch. Pool complex with slides. Walking distance to mini golf, funfair, beach, town. Bike hire to cycle along the canals. You can rent a canal boat for the afternoon and let him drive it. Lots of days out in near vicinity, but can also be done without a car. Park Albatross in Tuscany was also a hit - massive though - but it's not really near anything else.
